Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging Tax Analysis

This project, funded by the Aging Research Institute, examined the possible impacts of proposed changes in the taxation of residential living units in continuing care retirement communities in Kansas. Community benefit (social and humanitarian impact), economic impact, and fiscal impact (public costs/benefits) on governments were studied.
