Short Biography:

I serve as an administrative assistant to Marlene Glasscock, Project Director for the Army School-Age and Teen (ASA&T) Project, KSU Research and Extension, providing programmatic and administrative support. This project is housed in the School of Family Studies and Human Services because it addresses the opportunities and environments that can be provided through out-of-school programs to help youth grow into healthy productive adults. The research base in this department supports the USDA/ASA&T Project, a staff development project focused on enhancing the work of Extension and Army personnel who are responsible for delivering positive youth development programs for youth in their respective organizations within and outside the continental United States. I come from an agricultural background and am a lifetime resident of Pottawatomie County, Kansas. My husband and I are engaged in ranching and have a cow/calf operation. We have one son, Rob, and he and his wife Lesa have three children. My interests include fishing, gardening, genealogy, music and spending lots of time loving my grandchildren. I am involved in church work, FCE, and the Rock Creek FFA Alumni.
