Short Biography:
I grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and attended Kansas State University so I’m a Wildcat through and through. I lived in Dallas and Kansas City for a few years but returned to my home roots several years ago. My daughter is mother to my two wonderful grandchildren who changed my perspective on life. My son, a recent K-State journalism graduate, is a photographer. Early childhood education and parent education were the focus of my career over the years but more recently I’ve shifted to a youth development focus with grant projects involving partnerships with 4-H and Army and Air Force.
