Short Biography:

Dr. Katharine Grunewald has been faculty member at Kansas State University for over 25 years. She has taught over 6,000 college students in a wide range of nutrition/health courses, and is the primary advisor for the Nutrition and Exercise Sciences dual-degree program (100+ students). Her research has focused primarily on how nutrition affects the response to exercise (both human and animal studies). Dr. Grunewald has an extensive service record; and has given over 100 invited public presentations (seminars, radio, TV) on nutrition-related topics to different audiences.
