  • I teach courses related to the field of family life education (FSHS 871 - Family Life Education and Consultation, FSHS 875 - Delivery of Human Services, FSHS 979 - Advanced Family Life Education and Consultation), family theory (FSHS 950 - Advanced Family Theory), sexuality (FSHS 865 - Human Sexuality), parent education (FSHS 670 - Working with Parents) and qualitative methodology.

Short Biography:

I grew up in Elgin, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) with 3 siblings (all older than I). I have spent my life in several places in the Midwest - Illinois, Indiana, North Dakota and Kansas. I met my husband while we were students at Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana. We have two boys. As a family we enjoy music, traveling, reading, spending time outdoors and playing games.
