Short Biography:
I serve as the coordinator for the distance dietetics program. My duties include responding to inquiries about the distance program, reviewing transcripts, corresponding with advisees from all over the world, and mapping out articulation agreements with other schools.
In May 2006, I was honored to receive the first Excellence in Distance Academic Advising Award from K-State’s Division of Continuing Education. I believe that it’s important for students to have that one contact person to help give them direction. The distance students don’t know where everything is, so I want to help make them feel like they are a part of K-State. The most meaningful part of my job is getting to know the students and meeting them at commencement.
