Short Biography:

Camille Korenek has a Master’s of Agriculture and is a registered and licensed dietitian. Camille is a member of the American Dietetic Association and Foodservice Systems Management Education Council. She has served as an officer for the Kaw Valley Dietetic Association and is currently the national nutrition education committee chair for the National Association of College and University Foodservice.

She has attended culinary enhancement training at The Culinary Institute of American at Napa Valley, competed in culinary team competition at the University of Massachusetts, and coached culinary specialist employed at KSU in national university competitions at the regional and national level. She has been trained as a certified barbeque judge in Kansas City and has judged competitions locally. She has been instrumental in the development of recipes which expose residence hall students to other cultural food experiences through culinary events. She is the unit director of Van Zile Dining, oversees kitchen operations at Smurthwaite Leadership House, and teaches dietetic students during their foodservice management practicum semester.
