Food Science (University Interdepartmental Program):
Master’s and Ph.D.
The departments of Human Nutrition and Hospitality Management and Dietetics are participants in K-State’s interdepartmental Food Science graduate program, which combines faculty in five colleges and 11 departments across campus. On-campus graduate students can earn a Master’s or Ph.D. in Food Science with a human ecology emphasis, including food microbiology, food safety, sensory analysis or food processing. A graduate certificate and master’s degree option also is available through distance education.
