Kansas State University

Scholarships for Undergraduates

Dean Moxley and Fulbright Scholarship Recipient Elizabeth Greigg

Step One:
Apply for K-State Scholarships

K-State has one application form for university, college, departmental and program scholarships. New students should apply by November 1 for the next academic year. Continuing students should submit the application by February 1 for the next academic year. If you want to apply after February 1, contact Karen Pence to be added to the list of applicants.

Note: If you recently transferred from another college on campus, double check with the dean’s office to make sure you are on our list for scholarships (not your former college’s list).

Step Two:
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

In addition to student loans, this form is used to apply for grants and campus jobs. (K-State will consider your eligibility for grants, even if you don’t wish to apply for loans.) Many private sector scholarships give consideration to financial status, so having this data on file makes that information available.
