Personal Financial Planning

Money, money, money. Everyone wants it, but few of us know what to do with it once we have some! Personal financial planners help families and individuals understand financial products, how they work, and the role of the family in making financial decisions such as saving for college or retirement. The emphasis on how money management affects families and their futures gives this program a human dimension—and graduates an edge. This interdisciplinary program combines courses in human ecology, business and economics to prepare students for careers in industry, banking, retirement planning, personnel benefits, real estate, investments and consumer affairs. Graduates often find rewarding work in corporations or independent firms. Be qualified to show your clients the money!
