Physical fitness is quickly becoming one of our nation's priorities. Supremely conditioned athletes are breaking records that were once considered unattainable. Many people are seeking the personal challenge of competition in local, state, and national athletic events.Others are making fitness a part of their lives by setting aside time during the day to exercise and eat well-balanced meals.

Physical fitness is affected by several factors, the most important of which are diet and exercise. With the evolving concept of wellness, there is a greater need for professionals who are trained in both nutrition and exercise science.

Kansas State University is proud to be the first Big Twelve university to offer a dual degree in human nutrition and kinesiology. Graduates pursue careers in health programs in hospitals, industries, wellness centers, public and private clinics, YMCAs, YWCAs, fitness camps, athletic clubs, and university training tables.

Prospective students and students currently enrolled in this curriculum can obtain further information on coursework requirements, enrollment/admission procedures, professional certification, and campus resources at the K-State Nutrition and Exercise Sciences Student Advising Web Site.
