New Members initiated into Phi Upsilon Omicron

MANHATTAN — The Kansas State University chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national honor society in family and consumer sciences, initiated eight new members this spring.
Phi Upsilon Omicron recognizes achievement in scholarship, leadership and service.
“We are proud to recognize outstanding students with membership into Phi Upsilon Omicron,” said Karen Pence, assistant dean of the College of Human Ecology. “They are students who are dedicated to academic excellence, professional and personal leadership and integrity and service.”
New initiates are listed alphabetically by hometown:
Kristin Bosiljevac, junior in nutritional sciences, Emporia; Sarah Moll, senior in communication sciences and disorders, Olathe; Kristin Snyder, sophomore in apparel marketing and design, Overland Park; and Rachel Gerik, sophomore in early childhood education, Wichita.
From out-of-state: Amanda Robinson, sophomore in hotel restaurant management, Rolling Hills, Calif.; Michelle Hart, graduate student in communication sciences and disorders, Springfield, Ill.; and Laura Propp, senior in interior design, Columbia, Mo.
