Twelve students from the K-State chapter of Club Managers Association of America served as host committee for the 4th annual National Student Education Conference recently in Chicago.
The conference, sponsored by Greater Chicago CMAA, offered students from throughout the country opportunity to learn about club management and to network, said Kevin Roberts, faculty adviser who traveled with them. Topics ranged from Surviving the First Year to Club Financials. International speaker Bryan Dodge spoke on personal development.
Students are majoring in hotel and restaurant management and/or golf course management in HRIMD.
Attending but not pictured were John Pierce, Miles Combs and Jon Abercrombie.
