Excellence in leadership, research and scholarship earns K-State Human Ecology students membership in Kappa Omicron Nu honor society

MANHATTAN — Kansas State University’s chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu, an honor society for human ecology students, has initiated new members for the spring 2008 semester.

The national honor society recognizes leadership, research and scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate integrity, high standards of scholarship and the promise of future achievement are invited to join. Members must aspire toward the advancement of scholarship, personal and leadership development, and maintenance of high standards.

K-State’s spring 2008 initiates of Kappa Omicron Nu include:

Rebecca Roelofsen, sophomore in family studies and human services, Abilene; Lindsay Lloyd, sophomore in communication sciences and disorders, Cimarron; Katie Maddux Barnhardt, senior in dietetics, Deerfield; Brittany Dennis, sophomore in nutrition-exercise science and dietetics, Eureka; Rita Perez, junior in public health nutrition and dietetics, Garden City; Anna Perry, sophomore in public health nutrition, Garden Plain.
