Athletic Training Student Camp slated for June

High school students have the opportunity to learn about taping, re hydration, stretching and other sports medicine topics at Athletic Training Student Camp June 21, 22 and 23 on the K-State campus.
Sponsored by the Department of Human Nutrition, the camp will offer experience in athletic training skills at the collegiate level. Students will receive the latest information from the world of sports medicine.
Highlights will include demonstrations and hands-on experience in taping techniques and knowledge on heat illness, importance of hydration and other topics. Students will observe and interact in educational sessions with Division 1 team physicians.
Cost of $215 includes dorm, meals and materials. The rate is $170 for those not requiring dorm rooms.
