The college celebrated recipients of the annual Legacy of Excellence awards Thursday evening with sparkling cider, wine and an appetizer buffet among the mums and fall leaves in President and Mrs. Wefald’s garden on campus. The group of students, faculty and guests then moved to tented Justin Hall’s south lawn where barbecue was served.

Below, students and faculty admire the fall venue and the food; two white tents with candles and heaters welcomed celebrants; Dean Virginia Moxley, former dean Carol Kellett, Wefald and former dean Barbara Stowe form an admiration society. The deans presented President Wefald with an appreciation award for his support of the college; the university president congratulated the deans on their work in making the college such an international success.
