Four distance graduate students attend ceremonies
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008
For four graduate students, the journey to commencement was an unconventional one. On Dec. 12 in Bramlage Coliseum, each received a master’s degree through Great Plains IDEA. The new graduates in Family Studies and Human Services, personal financial planning, are, from left, Melinda Lake, Murdock; Amelia Thomas, Montgomery, Ala., and Lori DeBolt, Plano, Ill. At right, Rita Thurber, Arkansas City, received a master’s degree in youth development. The Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance is a multi-state multi-institution program offering fully online graduate degrees.
