Nacho Fiesta! welcomes students Aug. 27

Celebrate the new school year in the College of Human Ecology with free food and prizes.

Nacho Fiesta! will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in Hoffman Lounge and Patio in Justin Hall. New and returning students will have an opportunity to win gift certificates from Manhattan merchant. Students, faculty and staff are invited for nachos, cookies and Pepsi products.

Other welcome week activities include K-State Traditions Day Sunday, Aug. 23, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium; Culture Day on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the International Student Center and The School of Leadership Studies; ”Break! The Urban Funk Spectacular,” from noon to 1 p.m. on the Bosco Student Plaza; and Friday Fun Day on Aug. 28 starting with “Scream, Scream, Friday, Ice Cream” from 3-4 p.m. at the Union’s Caribou Coffee.
