Oracle Calendar Instructions for Palm and Pocket PC

Removing the Old Netscape Calendar Palm Link

  1. Remove the Netscape Link Program from the PC
    • Start > All Programs > Netscape Calendar Link > Uninstall Netscape Calendar link
    • If you get a message "Do you wish to replace the current Hot Sync settings", click Yes.
  2. Remove the NC Setup program from the Palm
    • Hit the home button on your Palm Pilot
    • Press the "Menu" button and choose App > Delete
    • Select the NC Setup program and click Delete...
    • Choose Yes to delete application
    • Click done.

Installing Oracle Calendar Link for Palm or Pocket PC

Special note for Palm users: If you do not want your address book to synchronize with the calendar, run "Install Oracle Calendar sync" on X:\Calendar\palm. Do a custom install and turn off address sync.

  1. Go to your desktop and double click on "HUMEC Applications"
  2. Double click on "HUMAN_ECOLOGY"
  3. Double click on "Application Installs"
  4. Run either "KCalendar Palm Sync Install" or "KCalendar Pocket PC Sync"
